Home / Fire panel monitoring
A fire alarm panel is the control unit in a building that receives signals from smoke detectors and call points and shows whether there is a fire alarm or a fault. Fire panel monitoring means seeing what your panels are reporting without having to stand in front of them.
FireWatch Pro does this for every building you look after, on one screen, and it never controls the panel.
The panel is reporting a fire alarm. You see which building, which alarm and how long it has been going.
The panel is reporting a problem with the alarm system itself. It is flagged so it does not sit unnoticed.
If a site stops reporting, it is clearly marked. No data is never shown as all clear.
FireWatch Pro reads what the panel reports. It does not send commands to the panel, change its settings or silence or reset an alarm. Your fire alarm behaves exactly as it did before.
There is nothing to rip out or replace. Whether a particular panel can be connected depends on its make and model, so this is confirmed before installation. Your certified contractor stays in charge of the panel itself.
The small FireWatch unit beside the panel keeps recent events and sends them when the connection returns. While it is offline, the site shows as lost contact so you know you are not seeing live information.
FireWatch Pro is monitoring, not a replacement. It does not replace certified installation, servicing or inspections, a monitoring centre, or the emergency services, and it does not control your fire alarm.

FireWatch Pro helps you keep watch. It does not replace your certified fire alarm systems, monitoring centres or emergency services, and it does not control your fire alarm. It is designed to work alongside them. FireWatch Pro does not certify any building or system.
